Novel Navigation Live Workshops - Service Agreement V1

1.    Your Agreement

You have chosen to participate in the Novel Navigation workshop sessions provided by Sandy Vaile, found of Fearless Prose (Us/We/the Organisation), and agree that you are solely responsible for attending the live sessions and participating in line with this agreement.

This Contract commences immediately upon payment for the Novel Navigation workshop and will apply now and in the future.

2.    Inclusions and Access

Once payment has been successfully processed, You will automatically receive information about the details of the workshop and access to the Zoom sessions, via email.

The workshop purchase includes:

• Two live four-hour sessions, delivered on the advertised dates, via Zoom.
• Bonus resources and templates.
• Access to Sandy Vaile’s virtual writing sessions and private Facebook group.
• Recordings of each training session (for a limited time). 

3.    Participation Requirements

3.1.  Pre-requisites

Come with a rough idea for a story and a strong idea for the main character(s).

3.2.  Participation and Conduct

You agree to communicate with Sandy Vaile, other Fearless Prose team members and other workshop participants in an open, honest and respectful manner. Everyone will get the most out of the workshop if You actively participate in discussions and activities, and retain a positive attitude.

Sometimes receiving feedback or ideas from others feels uncomfortable, no matter how sympathetically it is given. If any feedback or discussion upsets You, please let Sandy Vaile know right away via a private message in the Zoom room, or soon after by email. We will endeavour to resolve the situation to the satisfaction of both parties, as soon as possible.

You agree to take full responsibility for Yourself and all decisions, action, choices and results before, during and after the workshop.

You knowingly assume all of the risks related to Your use, misuse or non-use of the workshop or any of the workshop materials.

3.3.  Confidentiality

Confidentiality of Your personal details is important to Us and will be collected and used in line with the Privacy Policy available on Our website. I reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time and changes become effective once posted on Our website.

We reserve the right to use your name, testimonials and general results for marketing purposes.

The workshop content and materials are provided for Your individual use only and with a single-user license, which means You are not authorised to share, copy, sell, post, distribute, reproduce, duplicate, trade, resell, exploit, or otherwise disseminate any portion of the workshop content or materials, electronically or otherwise.

You are free to discuss Your participation in and general outcomes of the workshop with anyone at any time, providing You do not share specific information or resources, which are my intellectual property, i.e. videos, lessons, handouts, resources (workbooks, checklists, pictographs, templates), or specific information about the projects other participants share during the workshop.

4.    Payment and Refund Terms

You agree that You are financially willing and able to commit to the payment in Australian dollars.

A full refund will be provided for any reason, where a refund request has been made in writing to [email protected] at least 12 hours before the first workshop session commences.

• You will receive a response to your email, confirming it has been received. (If you don’t see this within 24 hours, call 0416 260 185.)
• Please allow two weeks for the refund to be processed.

4.1.  Contract Termination

If Sandy Vaile cannot deliver the workshop, or part-thereof, for any reason, We agree to notify You as soon as possible by email. A new date and time may be offered to deliver the workshop, or you will be provided a full refund. Even after termination by either of us, all of the terms of this Contract will apply to both of us now and in the future.

5.    Contract Acceptance

By purchasing this workshop, You agree that You have had the opportunity to ask questions about these terms, and acknowledge that You have read, understood and agree to all of the Terms in this Contract.
